Dear Camelot and Sawgrass Family,

In a practice of our size, the absence of any one or more of our valued staff here at Camelot or Sawgrass would prove to be a hardship to our hospital. More than half of our team members live in a home that is multigenerational with some family members in the higher risk age groups should they contract COVID-19. It is due to these factors that we have made the decision to continue with the policies we currently have in place as well as limited in-person appointments.

The interior of the building at Camelot Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel and Sawgrass Veterinary Referral Associates will have a limited number of in-person appointments available each day. Clients that have an in-person appointment must wear a mask and keep their nose and mouth securely covered at all times. We allow 1 person in the room for an in-person appointment and there are no children allowed. If you must bring your child(ren) to the appointment then you will need to schedule a curbside visit. All prescription and food pick-ups will remain curbside.

Our staff will continue to handle most client transactions in our parking lot while wearing a level of PPE consistent will the level of exposure for each client. Curbside service will continue, and clients that are waiting at our hospital for their furry family members are encouraged to continue to wear masks and socially distance themselves.  These practices will allow us to protect our staff and clients to the best of our ability.

The health and safety of our team members, clients, and patients are of the utmost importance to us here at Camelot Animal Hospital and Boarding Kennel and Sawgrass Veterinary Referral Associates. While we understand that everyone is eager to see our clinic fully reopen and for things to get back to normal, we have an obligation to ensure that we are prioritizing care over comfort.
